There is pending regulation that may extend the interim recognition of degrees from institutions approved by the bureau fro private postsecondary and vocational education until June 30, 2012 as long as the school had approval to operate as of June 30, 2007. I saw an email on the CAMFT Members listserve where someone was reporting an error with the calculator on the BBS site. Be cautious when using it. http://www.bbs.ca.gov/app-reg/exp_calc.shtml

Also, check out Trackyourhours.com and my somewhat complicated, but accurate calculator that I posted in the forums. Good luck on your exams:)

Mike

[update] The BBS reported that they fixed the issue and added more features. They are really on top of things lately :)

The board of behavioral sciences posted their own Excel Worksheet to count hours. It is more clear than the one that I have previously posted, but not as good as having a service like trackyourhours.com. It can be found here: http://www.bbs.ca.gov/app-reg/exp_calc.shtml

The BBS is having a meeting in Encino this week, April 11, 2008. If you would like to get involved in policy making this looks like a great opportunity to start. There is a list of topics on their site at:
