You can post positions that hiring. You can rate sites that you have worked at. You can post questions for the group, or to practice for the exams. You can also invite others to join the group.

Hi all,

To get started, you must first register on the site by clicking on register on the right hand side of the page. You fill out a short form. All that is required is a username and a valid email address. You should receive the confirmation email within moments of registering. If you did not receive it, please check your spam folder. If it is not there, email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Once you confirm your email address, you will be redirected to the login page. Once logged in, you will arrive at your profile page. You can make all changes to your profile from there. Also, there is a tab for the forum that appears in the top and side menu. I hope you enjoy the site. I have put a lot of hard work and time into the process. Lastly, I have placed two ad sections on the site. This is to pay my hosting costs. If you wish to not view the ads, there are several ad blockers available that you can install in your browser. The most commonly recommended ad blocker that I know of is AdBlocker . If you have any questions about the placement of advertising, please contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it The last thing that I want to do is to offend anybody.

In the forums, whenever you see an item that you like, you can click on "Subscribe." It will send you an email whenever anyone comments on that topic. There has been a conversation on the CAMFT Members listserve lately where someone did not want others to comment so much on a topic that they were not interested in. This SUBSCRIBE feature solves that issue.

I have updated the security settings this morning. It has interfered with the registration process, but has now been resolved and tested. If you have tried to register between 10 PM Friday 9/7/2007 and 2PM Saturday 9/8/2007, please feel free to try again. I apologize for the inconvenience. I was made aware this week that Facebook is making profiles public, and have taken extra measures to make sure that this does not happen on Internhours.com.

Thanks,

Michael Uram

Intern Hours is a site dedicate to tracking those elusive 3000 hours for Marriage and Family Therapy Interns, but we are also open to participation from other interested individuals in mental health fields. Counselors, Technicians, Trainees, Psychologists, Service Providers and Medical Doctors, are all invited to participate.

Registration and membership are FREE.

We have a few sections that you may want to explore, such as Profiles, Blogs, Connections, News, Polls, and a Calendar.

We have tried to make everything as self-explanatory as possible, but I am sure that there will be questions. You can find most answers posted in the forums.

There are forums to discuss the latest topics, concerns, or job openings.

You can build your own social network of therapists.

You can update your profile to let others know more about you and your practice.

There is a calendar listing events that may be of interest with linking website and map to location.

We have set up the option of having your own blog to share your thoughts, feelings or ramblings.

Lastly, I developed this site on my own. As such, there will be bugs that come up for you. Please report them to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and please excuse the error.

Hopefully, we can communicate, support, encourage and enjoy our experiences as interns on our long journey to licensure.

Also, please participate in the Yahoo Clinical Vignette Study Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/clinicalvignettestudy/

Michael Uram, MA, MFTI #47952
